Officers from Police Scotland attended an address in North Berwick Law in East Lothian on October 23, with the 15-year-old's death currently "unexplained".
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 6.15pm on Monday, October 23, police were called to North Berwick Law area following the sudden death of a 15-year-old girl. A council spokesperson said: “North Berwick High School received sad news of the unexpected passing of an S4 pupil last night. The school community’s thoughts are with their family at this most difficult of times.
