PUTRAJAYA: Police are tracking down seven foreigners believed to have run away from a quarantine centre housed in an education institution in Kuala Lumpur, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said in the meantime, the standard operating procedure will also be looked into to determine how the foreigners could have escaped, and to prevent future such incidents.
According to reports, the foreigners’ disappearance was were noticed at around 10am on Monday after the doctors in charge made their rounds examining patients under quarantine.
