KLANG: Police are tracking down several suspects following an armed robbery at a home in Taman Mutiara Bukit Raja 2.

On July 16 at around 9.39pm, several men, two of whom were armed with machetes, broke into the victim's house.

"The victim screamed for help and the thieves ran away five minutes later. The victim and those inside were uninjured," said North Klang OCPD Asst Comm Nurulhuda Mohd Salleh in a statement on Friday . Investigations showed that a suspect was waiting in a car while the robbery was in progress and that the robbers only managed to get away with a mobile phone."Efforts to trace and capture the suspects are underway," ACP Nurulhuda said.

A video of the incident is being shared on social media, which shows four men jumping over the gate before rushing into the house. Screams can be heard before a woman runs out of the house. She then pleads for help from neighbours while the thieves quickly make their escape in a car.
