The Police Regional Office 11 shrugged off allegations that it was tampering with evidence as it continued its operation to serve the arrest warrant against Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy in Davao City . PRO 11 spokesperson Police Major Catherine dela Rey said the accusation that cops were planting evidence in the KOJC compound has no basis and was only meant to taint their image, based on a Super Radyo dzBB report of Christian Maño on Sunday morning.
On Thursday, authorities said they discovered "secret hallways" inside the compound cathedral. However, one of their ministers denied the existence of such and explained that the hallway connected the backstage to the main stage. Dela Rey also denied allegations that the police have established a command center in a part of the cathedral.
