BANGKOK (Reuters): Authorities in Thailand charged a 14-year-old boy with premeditated murder and illegal possession of a firearm on Wednesday (Oct 4) after a shooting spree at a Bangkok mall using what police said was a modified pistol intended to fire blanks.
KUALA LUMPUR: A scam call centre posing as three welfare organisations asking for donations has been busted by the police.
City police chief Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid said they conducted the raid following intelligence gathered at around 3pm on Oct 4. "We also seized 54 laptops, 126 mobile phones, 108 receipt books as well as two internet routers," he said, adding that scripts and recorded conversations with victims were also found in one of the laptops seized.
