KULAI: The police have arrested two Rohingya men for allegedly being involved in house break-ins in Kulai.

Kulai OCPD Supt Tok Beng Yeow said the suspects, aged between 33 and 34, were arrested at two separate locations.

"The 34-year-old man was arrested at about 3.30pm on June 5 near the Johor Baru South police headquarters. "Meanwhile, the second suspect was arrested at an industrial area in Kulai at 3am this morning," he said in a statement on Tuesday . He added during the second arrest, the police also seized a sling bag containing three watches, a locket and a phone.He added that initial investigation suggests that the suspects were involved in break-ins around the Bandar Putra area in Kulai.

"We are still looking for another suspect known as 'Rahman' who is allegedly involved in the break-ins," he said, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for burglary.
