A convicted sex offender from a Chicago suburb is facing felony charges for allegedly grooming and traveling to engage in sexual acts with a juvenile. And that's not all.

Police say Opas traveled a number of times to Boston, engaging in sexual acts with the victim. An analysis of the victim's phone revealed Opas was aware of the victim's age. The victim was placed into the care of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services until relatives were able to pick the child up in Chicago, according to police.
