UH Coogs face Florida State in basketball showcase.
The UH Cougars faced off against the Florida State Seminoles at the Toyota Center in the Houston Hoops Showdown in a basketball event on Saturday night. The #8 Coogs fought with FSU through out the evening and finally secured an 82-67 victory in front of a predominantly home crowd.
Emanuel Sharp led all scorers with 27 points and freshman Kingston Flemings displayed athletic prowess scoring 21 points. Houston will return to the Fertitta Center on Wednesday night to play Jackson State.
