The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged Abdulrahman M. Hussein with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon enhancement in the Dec. 1, 2025, homicide that killed a 34-year-old man, according to the Seattle Police Department.Hussein, a convicted felon, was arrested Dec. 24 by the Renton Police Department following a traffic crash in Renton. Police arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence and for an ignition interlock violation and booked him into the South Correctional Entity jail, authorities said. While Hussein was in custody at the SCORE jail, Seattle police homicide detectives completed their investigation into the Chinatown-International District killing and referred the case to prosecutors, police said.Prosecutors formally filed charges on Dec. 31.
