The city of Rosenberg, Texas, has received a new ladder truck for its fire department. The new apparatus cost the city $1.4 million.Residents near Sylvan Rodriguez Park in Clear Lake City should expect ain the park at 10 a.m., according to the Houston Fire Department. The prescribed burn is intended to prevent the risk of accidental fire.
If residents see smoke in the area due to the fire, the Houston Fire Department is requesting that they do not call 911. In the case of smoke on roads, authorities said drivers should slow down and turn on their headlights.
