Contractor nabbed for allegedly abusing his nephew

GOMBAK: Police arrested a contractor who is believed to have abused his nephew.

Gombak OPCD Asst Comm Arifai Tarawe said police received information about the abuse from an anonymous caller around 7.50pm on Saturday ."When police went to investigate, they found a six-year-old boy with cane marks on his body," he said.

Meanwhile, police issued summonses to four teenagers, aged between 12 and 15, who are believed to be"basikal lajak" enthusiasts after they were found to be recklessly riding on Jalan Bidara in Bandar Baru Selayang on Sunday ."They were pulling dangerous stunts and also ran a red light," he said."We have also called in their parents," he said.In a separate case, police arrested a homeless man who is suspected of stealing and stripping vehicles for parts.
