Skeletal remains, clothing items and a walker were found by construction crews Wednesday in a vacant lot on 6605 Calhoun Road in South Houston
Authorities are working to identify skeletal remains found scattered around a wooded area in South Houston.
An autopsy is being conducted on remains found at 6605 Calhoun Road, a vacant lot, by construction crews at around 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, the Houston Police Department said in a Thursday news release. The worker who found the remains immediately contacted police. A walker, clothing items and gray tennis shoes were also found at the scene.Houston Police said in a news release that no immediate signs of foul play or identification was found.
