Phase two of the Richardson Highway mile 359 overpass is underway and scheduled for completion this fall.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - This summer the Alaska Dept. of Transportation is working on phase two of the Richardson Highway mile 359 overpass and they hope to complete all parts of the project before winter rolls in., one of the biggest projects will be seeing completion this year.
Phase two of this project is well underway as some of the south bound construction began last season in addition to completing the north bound overpass. “This year we are completing the south bound lanes which are going up pretty quickly considering the work we got started last year,” Perreault said. A slight difference in design is also supporting the speed of construction.
