Construction on East Main Street in Kent causes delays for Kent State students driving to class.
“The traffic is really bad, because this is one of our main streets and you can turn onto campus,” said Ava Mcwherter.“If it’s going to be this way and it’s going to take even longer to take the bus I might just have to walk,” said Mcwherter.
The project will also make it easier for people who walk along East Main. The cost of progress is frustrating to some.“I usually drive, and I drive this street a lot, to get to my apartment, and it’s been taking me ten extra minutes,” said Ashley Billings. “We come to this Starbucks every Thursday and even that takes so long, just to walk through this,” said Kate Schwab.
