KOTA KINABALU: The construction of the Penampang Health Clinic is expected to begin next year, says Datuk Ewon Bendedick.
The Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Minister said that he had received assurance from Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa that the delayed clinic planned would begin next year.
"We want to speed up the construction and provide health services to the people in Penampang soonest," he said after meeting with Dr Zaliha who was in the state on Saturday to get updates on the delayed Papar hospital building project and visited clinics in the city. Ewon said that Penampang clinic was among the high-priority projects he has outlined for the district.
