A Conroe man was arrested Sunday and charged with the hit-and-run death of a beloved Galveston doctor near the city’s seawall on Friday.hit and killed Galveston Dr. Nancy Hughes
as she rode a bike early Friday morning near the east end of Seawall Boulevard, Galveston police said. He was arrested about 4:40 a.m. Sunday in Seguin, over 200 miles from the island, where Galveston police had travelled to seize his vehicle. Llewellyn was charged with accident involving injury or death and is being held at the Guadalupe County Jail on $200,000 bond, police said.
