Officials with Conroe ISD are investigating a fart spray prank that forced the evacuation of Caney Creek High School and sent seven students to the hospital last week.

Caney Creek High School students, faculty and staff were evacuated and released home after a gas odor was detected at the school for the second-straight day on Thursday.

“Through the investigative work of the Conroe ISD Police Department and campus administration, we believe that the odor was introduced by a student using a highly concentrated prank stink spray called Hensgaukt Fart Spray,” Principal Jeff Stichler said in a statement to parents. Stichler stated the school, mechanical, ventilation and sewer systems have been checked to ensure the safety of the students and staff.

Around noon May 4, school officials evacuated the building at 13470 FM 1485 in northeast Montgomery County and sent the students, teachers and staff home. The school remained closed Friday.
