Connacht head coach Pete Wilkins believes that the success of a tough opening group of fixtures in the URC will be determined by whether the province win or lose against the Dragons at Dexcom Stadium
For the westerners' boss, the overall perspective on the opening six week block of the URC season will be determined by the result in Galway as Mack Hansen is poised to return from the hip issue that kept him out of last Saturday's loss to Leinster.
"That's pleasing. It shows we're on the right track. I think every game is a test to see if you can maintain that, of course. Honestly, I think this Dragons game will shape how we reflect on this first block." "But for us to have had three interpros in the first six games, two of them away from home, it is challenging - particularly with the competitiveness of the Irish teams. To have taken the four points from those two away interpros, I think that's important in the context of our season.
"In the context of this first block of games, certainly in house for us the importance of this game is absolutely enormous," Wilkins admitted.
