Congressional negotiators reached a tentative deal on a stopgap funding bill to avert a partial government shutdown . The bill would provide about $100 billion in fresh disaster aid and $10 billion in economic aid to farmers, Republican lawmakers said. Congressional aides were preparing the legislation that could arrive on the House of Representatives floor later this week with the goal of having the Senate also pass it before current funding runs out at midnight ET Friday.
