Democrats immediately renewed their demands to make Robert Mueller's report — and the evidence it is based on — public as quickly as possible, warning that there would be consequences if the White House attempts to censor or manipulate it
Lawmakers will soon face decisions about whether to seek Mueller's direct testimony and also whether to retrace his steps to make public any of the information that Mueller may have decided to keep secret.
“The Attorney General has said he intends to provide as much information as possible,” said Majority Leader Mitch McConnell . “As I have said previously, I sincerely hope he will do so as soon as he can, and with as much openness and transparency as possible."
