Manchester United have announced the departure of another first team player.
"Brandon made five appearances for the Reds across pre-season this summer and will bring a wealth of Championship experience with him, having spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan with Town's local rivals Norwich City," United said in a statement.
"The 22-year-old is set to link up with former United coach Kieran McKenna at Portman Road, with the latter leading the Suffolk side to automatic promotion from League One last season and starting superbly this time around." Williams joins a long list of United players who have departed the club in this the window, including the permanent departures of David de Gea, Axel Tuanzebe, Alex Telles, Fred, Anthony Elanga, Matej Kovar, Zidane Iqbal, and Phil Jones.
