Students are being sent home early after a power outage impacting over 1,000 customers in Lancaster County. According to the Conestoga Valley School District, the middle and high school students dismissed around 12:40 p.m. due to traffic signals being out in the area.
Elementary schools will dismiss at APPROXIMATELY 1:30/1:40; students will be dismissed as soon as buses arrive at buildings and students are ready. Thank you for your patience and understanding we as work through this unexpected event and work to get all students home as quickly and efficiently as possible! High school families - at this time no decision has been made about tonight's Senior Awards Ceremony.
Should the ceremony need to be moved to a different time/date, we will communicate directly with our senior families.
