Condé Nast has appointed Claire Thomson-Jonville head of editorial content of Vogue France, succeeding Eugenie Trochu who left in December.
“Claire brings a depth of experience as a stylist, fashion editor and journalist, and she has an incredibly exciting vision forchief content officer. “Maintaining its French character is of paramount importance to her, as is the discovery of new talent in fashion, wellness, beauty, arts and culture. She is already off to a wonderful start and I am excited to see the title reflect her sensibility and point of view.”studied law at the University of Edinburgh.
The editor and creative consultant joined Condé Nast as global contributing editor in September and oversaw the French magazine’s December/January edition published on Nov. 29, which introduced a refresh of its layout and typography. Its headline proclaimed “La Renaissance du Chic.”
