Residents of Dothan’s historic garden district are on edge after bullets flew in their normally quiet neighborhood.
DOTHAN, Ala. -Friday night, a normal gathering amongst teens, turned dangerous. If not for a few inches it could have turned deadly.
The teenage suspect admitted to targeting a young girl who had earlier Friday turned down his advances.“I would have been very concerned because we live within walking distance of the park and you don’t think about things happening like that in this neighborhood,” Valerie said. Lt. Owens has a stern warning for teens and anyone who thinks about making a bad decision involving a gun.
