Computational photography features, while raising concerns among some photographers, offer numerous benefits for creative expression and workflow efficiency. This article explores the use of computational tools in photography, addressing common anxieties and highlighting their advantages, particularly focusing on features like in-camera noise reduction and Live Graduated ND filters.

Computational photography features raise the hackles of many photographers, but many examples of these tools help photographers bring their creative visions to life and make their lives easier. That sounds good to me, not scary.

At one end of the spectrum, you could lump in-camera noise reduction into this sector, which sees the camera working to battle digital noise that can occur from high ISO values or long exposures. Human Technopole Seeks Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Biology for CAR T-cell Therapy ResearchHuman Technopole Seeks Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Biology for CAR T-cell Therapy ResearchHuman Technopole (HT) is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to investigate the cellular and molecular dynamics of CAR T-cell therapy in blood cancers. The project, funded by AIRC foundation for cancer research, will utilize state-of-the-art single cell multiomics data and computational approaches to model in vivo interactions between CAR T cells, tumor cells, and normal hematopoiesis. The goal is to uncover mechanisms driving therapeutic resistance, tumor reshaping, and hematopoietic impact under CAR T-cell pressure, ultimately aiming to improve immunotherapy strategies for hematologic malignancies.
