Knocking boots, instead of clocking in, increases employee productivity, according to new data on the benefits of taking “sex days” off from the job. New research from ZipHealth found that most employees who’ve taken a “sex day” off from work experience a boost in their productivity upon returning to the daily grind.
“Half of the employees who had taken reported a noticeable boost in their productivity afterward,” say study authors, “hinting at the potential organizational advantages of embracing sexual wellness initiatives.”But beyond getting to enjoy an all-day, weekday roll in the hay, some hanky-panky time away from the daily grind could be just what the doctor ordered — especially when it comes to supporting one’s mental health. .
Unsurprisingly, younger members of the workforce, Gen Zers and millennials — laborers ranging in age from 18 to 43 — are all in favor of sex days. Breadwinners in tech, health care and finance showed the highest enthusiasm for the X-rated respites.Gen Zs and millennials, the younger members of the labor force, are the most eager to see sex days implemented for employees, according to the study.
