Tributes are flowing for 46-year-old Analyn "Logee" Osias found dead inside her Kangaroo Flat home as thoughts turn to the welfare of her two now-orphaned young children. Bendigo will hold a vigil for Ms Osias on Tuesday night to remember her "sunny disposition"she was found unresponsive by emergency services on Sunday night
Bendigo's Filipino community is holding a vigil at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Quarry Hill tonight where the publicBendigo Filipino Foundation president Maria Gillies described the mum of four as having a sunny disposition and was always smiling and devoted to her children."Even close friends of hers that I talked with last night are having a hard time dealing with the sudden loss.
The Filipino Foundation had recently gone camping in the Knowsley State Forest near Bendigo where, Ms Gillies said, Ms Osias's two youngest children enjoyed their time with their mother.Ms Gillies said Ms Osias had met with friends earlier on Sunday.Ms Osias's death leaves her two youngest children without a mother and a father after her partner, Timmy Dorrough, was hit by a car in the early hours of a Saturday morning in May 2020.
Mr Dorrough was killed shortly after he got out of a taxi in Kangaroo Flat, just several hundred metres from the family's home. At the time, police told the media the 40-year-old had a dispute with a taxi driver before he got out and was hit by the other car travelling north and died at the scene.Ms Osias's vigil will take place at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Quarry Hill from 6pm.More than 1.
