Curtis Groff is being remembered as a young man of faith.
A 16-year-old who was hit and killed in Lancaster County is being remembered as a young man of faith. Curtis Groff was also known as Curt at the White Oak Church in Penn Township , where he attended services and was an active member.Those who knew him said he had a kind spirit, was a leader, and loved the Lord.'Well-rounded, well-liked. He would help anybody,' church member and family friend Bob Bruckhart said.Groff was struck May 2 while working along the side of West Sun Hill Road .
He loved the Lord, and he was a good worker. He was just a neat young fellow,' Bruckhart said.Bruckhart said he worked with Groff's father for nearly 30 years. He's remembering the young man he saw grow up.'He was loved by the youth group and by all the family,' Bruckhart said.Groff served as the youth group president, and Bruckhart also mentioned the teen's love of hunting.
