Animal Sanctuary holds Easter egg hunts San Diego Animal Sanctuary & Farm, formerly Children’s Nature Retreat, a 20-acre farm with animals, holds Easter egg hunts at 11 a.m. March 28-31 with an additional hunt at 3 p.m. on weekends. Tickets are $12, plus admission per child, including basket and up to 12 eggs. The farm’s bunnies will be there too, along with the Easter Bunny at 11 a.m. weekdays and also 3 p.m. weekends for photos.

The speaker is Kitty Morse, author of the 'Bitter Sweet' cookbook. Registration is at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $20 for lunch. Email [email protected]. MiraCosta College’s LIFE group is holding two free lectures March 29 in Building T200 on the Oceanside Campus, 1 Barnard Drive. At 1 p.m., Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Steve Breen, formerly of the Union-Tribune, will give a presentation on 'Content Creation in a Changing World.
