Week 2 of the NFL season is officially underway, with the Packers battling the Commanders on TNF. Here are the highlights!
Packers QB Jordan Love threw an unbelievable, 39-yard pass to Jayden Reed that would’ve been a touchdown if it hadn’t been negated by a penalty. He stepped up out of trouble and dropped the pass right into Reed’s arms at the pylon.
Reed, however, was injured on the play and is questionable to return.Love looks like a different quarterback so far this season. The key to his success and growth will be his accuracy and avoiding untimely interceptions. That play didn’t work, and the drive ultimately failed when he threw an incompletion on 4th and 3, but it was an impressive play nonetheless.Micah Parsons made his presence felt on Washington’s first drive. His big rush forced QB Jayden Daniels out of the pocket and eventually into a sack on second down. And on third down he was right in Daniels’ face, forcing him to rush a throw that was short of a first down.This is why the Packers wanted Parsons. It’s not just for the sack numbers.
