Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants because of a hamstring injury.

However, after he worked out earlier in the morning the Commanders decided he wasn't ready.. off the practice squad Saturday afternoon in case Robinson couldn't play. Rodriguez can handle more of the power runs that Robinson often handled., both of whom have served more as third-down backs. Ekeler has run for 240 yards and caught 19 passes for 207 yards. McNichols has rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns.
