Manhattan Grill closes in Palos Heights
The restaurant opened at the corner of 127th Street and Harlem Avenue in Palos Heights in the former Nick’s BBQ restaurant.Twohill, of Lemont, opened the original Manhattan Firehouse Grill in 2016 in Manhattan in Will County south of Joliet. He said he had been eyeing the location since Nick’s moved out three years ago because of Palos Heights’ ban on video gaming.Solid Auto Services, which has been providing auto service and repairs at 5418 S. Harlem Avenue in Summit, will be closing at the end of business on Friday.Some people on social media have confused Solid with Summit Auto Body, which is not closing.
The original location in Oak Lawn opened in May at 10810 S. Cicero Ave. The new location is at 13000 S. LaGrange Road in Palos Park. Both stores are open from noon to midnight except on Friday when they open at 2 p.m.
