Coming soon: Recreational marijuana dispensary applications go live in June after state panel OK’s rule

A state panel cleared Monday afternoon 11 administrative rules for the state’s medical and recreational marijuana programs.

But James Canepa, superintendent of the Division of Cannabis Control, declined after the meeting to estimate the licensing timeline, saying applications will be published no later than June 7, per the initiated statute. Callender, the Lake County representative, said that he’s spent time talking to regulators at the division.
