Comic-Con’s preview night gives attendees a chance to pick up badges and look around
Hundreds of people wait in line to see the booths during Preview Night for Comic-Con International in 2023. International starts Wednesday, July 23, at the San Diego Convention Center with a preview night that helps attendees get badges early and avoid long lines the next day.
The Wednesday schedule is typically light with few events, but is mainly a way for people to pick up badges without gigantic lines on Thursday and Friday. It also is a chance to see the convention floor early but, in the last two years, has been just as packed as the other days. It used to be a chance to see the convention without massive crowds — but the word must have got out. The Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina will also be playing previously released movies for much of the night, including “Captain America: Brave New World.”Looking to bring comics into your classroom?
