The Commission on Elections donated P10 million to the Philippine Coast Guard to support Coast Guard operations in the upcoming 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections this month.
Garcia said the poll body decided to give additional funds to PCG “since they are using their resources whenever they assist us and all the time we get their support for free and we don’t want to be freeloaders.”
