THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) gave assurances that it will have an accurate list of registered voters for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) after it purged the list of almost 500,000 double and multiple registrants. READ HERE:

Candidates, election citizens' arms and other stakeholders may get a copy of the list of voters to see if it is correct or accurate,' Garcia said.

It is similar to a bouncing check; you are liable,' he said.He said about 7,000 cases have been filed by the commission against registration offenders.Garcia warned that double or multiple registration is both an election and a criminal offense punishable by six years in prison, forfeiture of the right to suffrage, and perpetual disqualification to hold an elected or appointed position in government.
