A wet and cool start to the week, but turning much colder by midweek.
Today is the warmest day of the week, but it is also the wettest day of the week. We have steady rain for the morning hours with temps in the upper 40s to start the day. The steady rain will move out, to the east, mid-morning then cloudy with a few stray rain showers and a high around 55 today. It will be a bit breezy with winds out of the southwest 10-15 mph.
A few stray rain showers are possible overnight, but generally cloudy with a low around 44. Another chance for a few rain showers for Tuesday, especially to the south/east as we warm to a high around 50. Colder air starts moving in from the northwest Tuesday evening. Wednesday we will be mostly cloudy and colder. There will be a couple snow showers in the morning followed by a little midday sun, then back to clouds with a few more snow showers in the evening. We will only warm to a high around 34 on Wednesday.
Thursday will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds, with morning temps in the teens, then a high around 24. Friday more clouds will start moving back into the region, with morning temps in the teens again and a high around 36.
