Good morning, Central Ohio! A weak high-pressure system will keep us dry today with plenty of sunshine. It will be hotter with highs in the low 90s. Skies remain clear tonight with overnight lows in the upper 60s. A mix of sun and clouds is on tap for Monday with highs in the low 90s. There is a slight chance for a pop-up storm; otherwise, most areas remain dry.
Temperatures climb into the low 90s on Tuesday before a cold front dips into the area. Rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible with a few strong storms capable of producing gusty winds. A few rain showers linger into Wednesday morning before dry and cooler air settles back into the region. Highs will be closer to average in the low to mid-80s. We are monitoring Tropical Storm Debby as it will intensify as a Category 1 hurricane by Monday before making landfall in Florida. It will spill back into the Atlantic after crossing through Southern Georgia.
There is still some uncertainty on the track by the end of the week as Debby could impact our weather pattern. For now, the forecast after Wednesday remains dry with a mix of sun and clouds.
