The 90s return for one more day with some pop-up storms, but sunshine, pleasant temps & lower humidity return soon.TONIGHT: Isolated showers/storms, low 70.SUNDAY: Mostly sunny, high 78.Good Thursday morning! The National Weather Service office in Cleveland has confirmed two EF1 tornadoes so far from Tuesday’s storms. One tornado was on the ground for 8.4 miles and the other was 17 miles long.
Central Ohio is waking up to partly cloudy skies with temps in the upper 60s. We will have light winds out of the east today and heat up to a high around 90 this afternoon with a mix of sun & clouds. We have a few factors at play today for Central Ohio. First off, we have Tropical Storm Debby over South Carolina and heading north. This will force some moisture up into our region as Debby starts moving farther north.
Overnight Tropical Storm Debby will continue moving faster to the north over the Virginias and into Eastern Pennsylvania. The western edge of Debby’s rain will ride very close to Eastern Ohio. Early clouds for Ohio on Friday with morning temps around 70 along with rain possible for Eastern Ohio. Debby will continue racing to the north-northeast on Friday and any rain for Ohio will quickly leave. Early clouds will give way to sunshine as high pressure moves in from the west.
The weekend is looking fantastic for Central Ohio! Morning low temps will dip into the mid-50s and then we warm up to high temps around 78 each day with mostly sunny skies. It will be a great weekend to open the windows to the house and turn off the air conditioning. Next week we will continue our dry and sunny pattern. Our temperatures will slowly warm next week as we start the week with a high temp of 80 on Monday then warm into the mid-80s by the end of the week.
