A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Monday, which will be followed by an Extreme Cold Warning through noon Tuesday.Good morning, Central Ohio! While the winter storm is gone from Central Ohio, it has left behind a pack of heavy snow.
TONIGHT: Some clearing. Extremely cold. Low: -3WEDNESDAY: Sun and clouds. Very cold! High: 11 A few flurries are possible Monday; otherwise, the main concerns following the winter storm are blowing snow and the cold temperatures. Highs will only reach the lower teens with wind chill values as low as -15. A Cold Weather Advisory lasts until 6 p.m. Monday. Clouds clear out by tonight, which will allow temperatures to plummet below zero! When we factor in the winds, wind chill values as low as -25 will be possible. Exposed skin is at risk of frostbite in 30 minutes. This prompted the National Weather Service to issue an Extreme Cold Warning, which will last until noon Tuesday. Another shot of snow is expected by Tuesday afternoon as a cold front dips into the area. An inch or less will be possible.Dangerously cold temperatures persist this week with highs in the teens and overnight lows below zero. It won’t be until Sunday that temperatures will be near 20.Cold Weather and Snow Advisory remains in effect this morning and afternoon with wind chill values of -15 to -10 possible.
