ext week.SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy, chance for scattered showers, high 70.Good Wednesday morning! Hopefully you enjoyed the sunshine the last few days! We will remain mostly cloudy for the rest of the week. We are starting off with temps in the lower 60s this morning thanks to the clouds acting like a blanket above us. We will warm to the mid 70s today with a very slight chance for a stray shower.
Mostly cloudy again on Thursday with morning temps in the mid 50s and warming to a high of 76. Similar on Friday with a high around 78. We may get a few more showers to sneak in on Friday. Saturday will have a few scattered showers as well with a high of 70. The chance of rain for Friday and Saturday is 30% and 40%, respectfully.
The main rain event will be coming Sunday into Monday morning. 80% chance of rain on Sunday and then a 70% chance for Monday, mainly early. Rainfall totals around half an inch. High temps dip to 65 on Sunday then 52 on Monday. Rain races out during the day on Monday. Right now, all the forecast models are showing a dry Tuesday with brisk winds out of the northwest. Partly cloudy on Halloween with morning temps around 33 and a high of 47. Temps falling from the 40s into the upper 30s for Trick or Treat on Halloween evening with 10-15 mph winds. Have a good one!
TROPICS UPDATE – Hurricane Tammy continues north of the Caribbean as a Category 1 Hurricane. It may briefly bump up to a Category 2 storm today. Tammy will continue north and turn west towards Bermuda later this week and weaken to a tropical storm. Hurricane Otis in the Eastern Pacific has rapidly intensified the last 24 hours and will make landfall in Western Mexico today as a strong Category 5 storm.
