Scattered early rain showers today. Warm, windy, and humid this afternoon. Strong storms this evening and overnight. Chilly temps return tomorrow.TONIGHT – ALERT: Scattered strong to severe storms, windy, low 40.

MONDAY: Increasing clouds, isolated showers, high 68.WEDNESDAY: Scattered showers and storms, high 75. Good Thursday morning! Stay weather-aware later today and tonight. A few showers in Indiana will move into Southwestern and Southern Ohio this morning with a warm front lifting into the region. Temps are in the upper 50s this morning, then we warm to around 78 this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. It will also become humid with southwest winds of 10–20+ mph. Storms will begin developing late this afternoon in the Lower Great Lakes and move south with a cold front. The highest risk for severe weather is across Northern Ohio with a Level 3 of 5 on the severity scale, while Southern Ohio is in a Level 2 of 5. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings tonight, and do not rely on tornado sirens since they are designed to alert people outdoors. The first storms in Northern Ohio could produce very large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. As storms move south, they will likely form more into a line, which lowers the tornado and large hail threat slightly but still brings a risk for strong winds. Timing may shift slightly based on when the storms start to pop up, but based on current data, here at 3AM, here is the onset timing for the storms:As storms weaken overnight, they may slow down, so localized flooding is also possible with 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain. Rain should move out around daybreak Friday. Temps will drop quickly overnight, possibly into the mid-30s, and a few early flurries cannot be ruled out. Chilly Friday as we start drying out. We begin in the mid-30s with cloudy skies, then some sun may break through late in the day as we warm to around 45. North winds of 10–15 mph will make it feel like the 20s and 30s. Saturday starts in the 20s and warms to around 47 with mostly sunny skies. A few more clouds Sunday with a high around 61.Warmer next week with rain returning. Isolated showers and storms are possible Monday and Tuesday, each with about a 40% chance of rain. Rain chances increase to around 60% Wednesday.
