Columbus police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects accused of stealing a woman's car at gunpoint in a south Columbus neighborhood. The incident occurred at a Sunoco station on Noe Bixby Road around 9:20 am on Friday morning.
Columbus police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying two suspects accused of stealing a car at gunpoint from a gas station on Noe Bixby Road in south Columbus. The incident occurred around 9:20 am on Friday morning when a female victim was refueling her 2016 Fiat at a Sunoco station. As she was pumping gas, a male suspect approached her, brandishing a firearm and demanding her car keys. A female suspect also joined the scene.
The victim, in a frantic 911 call, described the suspects as teenagers or young individuals. She managed to remove her four-year-old child from the vehicle before the suspects fled with the car. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
