Columbus police addressed social media rumors of a serial killer in the city after a triple homicide on Saturday. While officials confirmed that the incidents are not connected to a serial killer, they are investigating a possible link between Saturday's shooting and a previous homicide.
Columbus police responded publicly for the first time to social media rumors that a serial killer is on the loose in the city. Saturday's triple homicide , 'We've been made aware that over the past several days that there have been some rumors circulating on social media that some of the incidents are connected to a serial killer,' CPD Deputy Chief Smith Weir said. 'I can tell you definitively that that is not the case.
' Saturday's shooting that left three women dead -- 49-year-old Dawn Clover, 34-year-old Sierra Muse and 36-year-old Tiffany Parrish -- in a home on South Ohio Avenue is connected to another homicide from several days earlier. 'We are looking at the possibility that Moler and South Ohio are connected in some way,' Weir said. 'it's heartbreaking to know she went the way that she did,' Kellie Argyle, the aunt of Tiffany Parrish said. 'She wore her hear on her sleeve, she would do anything for anybody,' said Argyle, 'I still don't believe it, 'I am almost in shock.' Columbus Police were called to a home in a back alley on Saturday when someone called 911 saying he discovered blood inside the house and a woman shot in the head. 'I can't even imagine what was going on in the killer's head, let alone the women as this was going on,' Argyle said. has been charged with murder in the case of Hambrick and is being held on a $2 million bond. Weir said the suspect or suspects in the triple homicide remain at large, adding that others may have helped Graham in the killing of Hambrick. 'We aren't saying how many people are involved, we aren't sure we know the number of people involved' Weir said. 'We do believe there are additional suspects out there and are trying to identify them.
