Why are so many Airbnb destinations booked up in Columbus this coming weekend? The Ohio State-Notre Dame game is probably a big reason.
As summer unofficially comes to a close on Labor Day, travelers are making Columbus the place to be during the last weekend of the season.according to a news release from the vacation rental company
. Other cities in the top five include Raleigh, North Carolina; Tampa, Florida; North Kingstown, Rhode Island and Jacksonville, Florida. The cities were selected after Airbnb used data to analyze reservations made by U.S. travelers from Jan. 1 to June 30 for Sept. 2-5 check-ins, according to the release.
