Watch live: Columbus Crew introduces Wilfried Nancy as head coach in press conference
Tuesday morning, and will hold his introductory press conference at 10 a.m.
Nancy joins the team from CF Montreal, where he led it to a 20-9-5 record, finishing in second place in the Eastern Conference. The Crew will be required to compensate Montreal as part of the hiring since he was under contract for one more season. Nancy finished second in the 2022 Sigi Schmid MLS Coach of the Year race behind Jim Curtin of the Philadelphia Union.
Prior to being named as the head coach at Montreal, Nancy was an assistant with the team starting in 2016, having previously coached at the academy for two seasons.
