Colts' All-Pro LB Shaquille Leonard is questionable to play vs. Titans.
The Colts' All-Pro linebacker is questionable to play against the Titans. It's the first time he's been listed as questionable on a Friday since Week 1, whenHe's practiced in full each day this week as he's worked to develop his back, which required surgery in June to repair a nerve issue that had been shooting pain down into his calf and ankle.
The Colts could use the return of"The Maniac" for their defense, as it will play without starting free safety Julian Blackmon, who is out with an ankle injury. Seventh-round rookie Rodney Thomas II will start in his place. Running back Jonathan Taylor is good to go after sitting out Wednesday's practice to rest a hurt toe.The Titans have ruled out safety Amani Hooker with a brain injury and linebacker Zach Cunningham with an elbow issue.
“I’m going to say this, because I’ve seen it all on social media: If I’m ready to go, I’m going to play,” Leonard said this week. “Everybody knows me. I went out there last year with one ankle. I love this game, I love this game with all my heart and I’d do anything to play this game for 100 years. There’s no such thing as me standing on the sideline because of me.”
