Domingo reveals that Osborn's transformation will unfold in upcoming seasons of the animated series.
, who voices Norman Osborn, has come out to shed light on his character’s transformation into the Green Goblin and other live-action MCU roles he could tackle. In this elseworld setup, Osborn serves as Peter Parker’s mentor, similar to the role that Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark played in the MCU. As such, Domingo’s character starts off proceedings on the positive end of the spectrum, causing fans to wonder if they will get to see Osborn’s ultimate transition into the maniacal supervillain.
He then confirmed that fans will get to see his character transform into the Green Goblin, albeit in due time. “I’m having a good time, I love the animation. I love the idea of playing Norman Osborn, and you’ll see his evolution into the Green Goblin in the coming seasons, which will be very cool,” Domingo revealed.
In the interview, the veteran actor also addressed rumors linking him to the other live-action Marvel roles, including that of Kang the Conqueror. Despite being open to undertaking an MCU part, Domingo seemed to have some conditions regarding the kind of role he’d accept. “I’m just all about energy and I just want to do things that make sense and bring gentle energy. I want a role to be mine, whatever that role is…I want to build something from the ground up that’s my own,” he stated.
