Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury is joining the 7NEWS sports team for the remainder of the AFL finals series. In a huge coup for footy fans, Pendlebury will be providing opinions and analysis for 7NEWS and will also be part of Seven’s grand final coverage. Pendlebury will appear on Thursday nights to provide his insights for the preliminary finals and the grand finals.
“We have never seen a tighter competition and there will be a lot to discuss across the three upcoming games. “To reach ultimate success a lot needs to go in your favour, every moment matters. I can’t wait to see where it lands this season.” 7NEWS Melbourne’s director of news, Chris Salter, said viewers would be thrilled. “Scott has got an incredible football brain, and we know our viewers will appreciate his insights,” Salter said.
