LETRAN’S Rhenz Abando and Ateneo’s Thirdy Ravena and Ange Koaume thanked school leagues scribes for recognizing their accomplishments during the Collegiate Press Corps Awards Night at the Hummingbird Rooftop Bar in Quezon City on Monday.
Abando, Ravena and Koaume were hailed Collegiate Basketball Players of the Year for different University Athletic Association of the Philippines and National Collegiate Athletic Association seasons before and immediately after the pandemic. The awards was shuttered by Covid for three years. Also honored in the ceremony presented by San Miguel Corp. and the Philippine Sports Commission were champion coaches Tab Baldwin of Ateneo, Goldwin Monteverde of University of the Philippines and Bonnie Tan of Letran.
